We finally made it! After driving for hOURs with fighting kids; we made it to San Diego and got to visit with my Aunt Carolyn & Uncle Ron for a night. Thanks for the night's stay!! And then we made our way south to the long awaited LEGOland place of lego wonders and imagination! We were not disappointed and so bear with me with ALL the pictures of the amazing creations that we got to see, and that one day Hayden hopes to create. Thanks Nielsen's too for the free ticket!
We can't believe we're actually here! SO exciting!!
LEGOS everywhere you look!! The boys were in brick heaven...look at everything made from Legos; from the pirates, to their food, and even the silverware. Too cool!
Look at those legs!! Even the dog, the banana, and the cooler are out of Legos. What detail...and they just about look real (good thing he didn't wake up with my hand there).
All of our favorite heros/characters!! Bet you can't guess which one was the boy's favorite, and now Ashtyn just loves Bob the Builder, and plays with those Legos now.
We did enjoy a few rides too; but mom and dad had to take turns since Ashtyn was too short for most of the fun ones. She was not too thrilled about that.
Some more wonderful LEGO creations! From the details on the pizza, to the Lego figures-Now, the boys favorite Lego pieces right now, and they're LIFE sized!!, the boys loved every brick!
BiONicLE!
Ashtyn did get to ride the camel (well, Lego camel).
And the Neigh, neigh!! What an awesome Knight's Kingdom ride.
LEGOWOOD or mini town...this was our FaVOriTe!! The Thriller movie scene, downtown NY, the New York skyline with the missing twin towers, rodeo scene, NASCAR racing, Las Vegas Luxor, and only one toilet! Wish you could see the details better; just amazing. Such a dream for a LEGO fanatic like Hayden (and now Jantz is following in his footsteps).
Stay tuned, this was only the first day...
